Sort Lines Online

Sort lines online when you need to order text, alphabetize a list, sort strings, sort paragraphs, or organize copied rows without opening Notepad++, Word, or a spreadsheet. Paste text, choose the order, and copy the sorted result.

PC Notepad works as a line sorter, text sorter, alphabetical text sorter, text alphabetizer, string sorter, and online list sorter. You can sort text from A to Z, reverse to Z-A, use natural numeric sorting, sort lines by length, trim lines, ignore case, remove blank lines, and make unique lines before saving.

Why it is different

Built for lists, keywords, strings, paragraphs, and messy text

Sort text alphabetically

Sort lines A-Z or Z-A for keyword lists, names, URLs, strings, paragraphs, and copied text.

Natural and length sort

Use natural numeric order for list2 before list10, or sort lines by shortest and longest text.

Clean while sorting

Trim each line, ignore case, remove blank lines, and make unique lines before copying the result.

Private browser processing

Your list is sorted locally in your browser and is not uploaded to a server.

How to sort text online

  1. 1. Paste your text or list. Add keywords, names, URLs, strings, paragraphs, rows, or any line-based text you want to order.
  2. 2. Pick the sorting mode. Sort alphabetically A-Z, reverse Z-A, use natural sort for numbered strings, or sort lines by length.
  3. 3. Clean the list while sorting. Trim each line, ignore case, remove blank lines, or remove duplicate lines before copying the sorted output.
  4. 4. Continue your workflow. Use Remove Duplicate Lines for a duplicate report, Remove Line Breaks for wrapped text, or Text Cleaner for deeper cleanup, or Find and Replace to update repeated words in the sorted text, or Text Compare to review changes between two lists.

Useful when Notepad sorting is not enough

Use it for Notepad++ sort lines style tasks, alphabetical list ordering, keyword sorting, online string sorting, sort text from A to Z, sort my list workflows, and quick text organization before saving in PC Notepad.
