How to use the text cleaner
- 1. Paste messy text. Add text copied from a webpage, PDF, email, Word document, Google Doc, OCR result, or AI chat.
- 2. Choose a cleanup preset. Use Light cleanup, Clear formatting, Web/PDF paste cleanup, Line cleanup, or Aggressive cleanup. If your main task is joining wrapped PDF or webpage text, use Remove Line Breaks.
- 3. Fine tune the options. Toggle extra spaces, blank lines, line breaks, HTML tags, entities, tabs, URLs, emails, emojis, accents, punctuation, non-ASCII characters, and punctuation spacing.
- 4. Copy and continue. Send clean text to the Word Counter or Case Converter, or the Duplicate Line Remover for repeated keyword lists and line-based text, or Sort Lines when you need to alphabetize or order a cleaned list, or Find and Replace to update repeated words before saving, or Text Compare to review changes between two drafts.
